    Why veterinarians and others prefer to give their pets the human formula  - Many veterinarians recommend the human formula, Transfer Factor Plus instead of the pet formula for their sick animals. I find it is easier to give the content of a small capsule of high potency of TF Plus, to very sick dog or cat, especially if they have difficulty eating. The Canine and Feline Complete formulas contain yeast and some dogs have a sensitivity to yeast which may give them the run. Since Shasta is is sensitive to yeast I give her the Transfer Factor Plus (human formula) which I think is a more potent immune booster. I started by giving her one capsule of TF plus (I shoved a capsule in her mouth or mixed it in her food) for 3 consecutive days. As she did well on one capsule, I increased the dosage to 2 capusles a day (one morning and one evening).
