Shirley’s Wellness Café is seeking contributing authors for a variety of content creation.
If you have a pet story or would like to write on health and wellness, we welcome your ideas. Reach a large audience
with your story or article on a dedicated web page. We are looking for original and unique content, and
should address integrative health care methods, vaccination, nutrition and many other pertinent health topics.
Feature articles and stories (750 to 1,200 words) should focus on these major topics:
holistic and integrative health care methods, natural health care methods and case studies, nutrition,
vaccination, and general interest stories. There is some room for shorter reflective lyrical and/or
humor pieces if they are particularly well-written.
Shirley’s Wellness Café may offer advertising or column space in exchange for article submissions,
depending on the reputation of the author, subject, and supporting illustration. Hyperlinks, Adsense, or
other trades may also be available for in exchange for contributing authors. Please feel free to make an offer.
If submitting assigned articles or unsolicited manuscripts, please send as an MS Word
attached file to your e-mail. Pay close attention to the word count. There is some leeway, but if a target word count for a feature
is around 1,200 words, don’t submit a 3,000-word story. We will be able to work with one that may be
over by a few hundred words but not a few thousand.
