How Does Phytoplankton Relate to Light Waves and Energy?

There are two basic theories of how to get people with chronic
disease well and keep them that way. One is that we must find a
drug that will substitute for a broken “gear” in the body or to
repair the “gears” mechanically (surgery). The other is to give
the body the things it needs to manufacture new cells and let it heal itself.
For those wishing to support the latter theory, it has been difficult
to determine what is actually needed to make new cells. People are
always saying things like they have a new herb from Africa, or a
fruit from China that will magically heal everything. Such findings are

has always been that our Heavenly Father would not design a body

What exactly are phytoplankton?

Phytoplankton are microscopic plants that live in the ocean.
There are many species of phytoplankton, each of which has a characteristic
shape. Collectively, phytoplankton grow abundantly in oceans around
the world and are the foundation of the marine food chain. Small
fish, and some species of whales, eat them as food. Larger fish
then eat the smaller fish. Humans catch and eat many of these larger
fish. Since phytoplankton depend upon certain conditions for growth,
they are a good indicator of change in their environment. For these
reasons, and because they also exert a global-scale influence on
climate, phytoplankton are of primary interest to oceanographers
and Earth scientists around the world.
Phyto means Light and Plankton means Floating/Suspended.
NASA theorize that some 3 1/2 billion years ago, the world was changed
forever. The appearance of tiny organisms with the ability to convert
sunlight, warmth, water and minerals into protein, carbohydrates,

Phytoplankton: Plants of the Sea
To the casual observer, the oceans and bays are vast trackless
bodies of water. Beneath their surfaces are countless fish. But more numerous by far are the
tiny microscopic animals and plants
collectively called plankton, a word derived from the Greek meaning
wandering. The plant portion of this complex oceanic soup is called
phytoplankton. The term phyto comes from the Latin phyton meaning
tree or plant. This large grouping is composed mostly of single-celled
algae and bacteria. Marine phytoplankton contains life-giving properties
that provide for cell sustenance and healthy cell growth. Phytoplankton
contains essential fatty acids such as Omega 3 and Omega 6. Also
found in marine phytoplankton are beta carotene, thiamine, riboflavin,
niacin, pantothenic acid, pyridoxine, cobalamin, Vitamin C, and

Phytoplankton, comprise hundreds of species of photosynthetic, unicellular organisms
belonging to the Kingdom Protista. Temperate coastal waters, such
as those along British Columbia (BC) Canada, are highly productive
and support a diverse array of microalgal species from numerous
Classes, including the primary producers called diatoms (Class Bacillariophyceae).
Every spring, when conditions of light, nutrients, and mixing are
optimal for growth, diatoms grow rapidly in the euphotic zone (upper
20 m). This event is known as the "spring bloom". During this period,
many species take advantage of the enhanced conditions but generally
three diatom genera are the most successful - Skeletonema, Thalassiosira,

(immune cells). Other brands may provide more plankton per serving,
but again, if they have closed cell plankton in their product, more
will not make a difference. Also, the other brands have no actual research
to confirm how much is needed of their brand. Often times consumers
assume "more is more", and this is what manufacturers count on at points
The Sea Farm is a CARBON NEUTRAL research and manufacturing
facility. Unbelievably, it only requires about 10Hp to operate our facility.
You have probably heard about the carbon fixation of trees and the increasing
interest in planting trees to offset our carbon emissions. The fact
is that a mature tree probably fixes 4-5 t of CO2 over its lifespan
of 40-100 years. In terms of removal rate, forests fix at least 1.2
t C per acre per year11 (or 4.4 t C02/acre/year). In contrast, our facility
running 8 tanks will fix approximately 1 tonne of CO2 every day! Clearly,
micro-algae are more efficient agents for CO2 removal than trees.
Our only bi-product is OXYGEN!
The first step of our technology to "Bloom" the Phytoplankton
in the tanks requires that we fill them up with Seawater which contains
naturally occurring wild species of phytoplankton that are thoroughly
tested each and every batch to ensure they completely safe for human
consumption. As phytoplankton make up the basis of the food chain in
the ocean, it is imperative NOT to disrupt or take away this natural
foundation. In essence, we "borrow" the Plankton for only 5 to 12 days
until the tanks are in full "bloom" and ready to be harvested. Approximately
5% of the wild nutrient rich phytoplankton bloom remain in the tanks
after harvesting, therefore, when we empty the tanks the remaining
three to five percent of Phytoplankton nutrients returns back out
to the ocean, maintaining the strength of the oceans food chain.
Alpha 3 CMP is tested after each harvest for yeast,
mould, bacteria, e-coli, staphylococcus, salmonella, heavy metals, and
arsenic at a licensed third party laboratory that has been granted
their Site License Number issued through Health Canada. Each and every
batch has met the strict guidelines set forth by Health Canada (Equivalent
to the US FDA) since it's launch in April 2005.
Marine Life Science has contracted with the Department of Health
Promotion and Education at the University of Utah to conduct clinical
studies to determine the impact of Alpha 3 CMP concentrated marine phytoplankton
on human health indicators of apparently healthy individuals

Making an educated decision - Consumer questions to ask phytoplankton suppliers:
Is it open or closed cell? If the answer is OPEN, carry
on with the following questions, otherwise, CLOSED cell phytoplankton
often offer little to no absorption into the human digestive tract and
will make very little difference from a nutritional standpoint.
Does the phytoplankton blend offer hundreds of species of WILD
phytoplankton, or only a few "select" species. How did that company
go about "selecting" the species in that particular product? Where is
the medical proof that those species are beneficial from a human health
standpoint? Please provide scientific evidence to back-up any potential
Is the other product grown in in sync with Mother Nature?; in
fresh natural seawater with open tanks exposed to natural sunlight or
de-natured bio-reactors using artificial sea water and artificial sunlight?
Our bodies are designed to benefit most from plants that grow in their
natural environment as do other organic fruits and vegetables.
What medical studies do they have to conclude a proper serving or "recommended
dose" of their Phytoplankton? In other words, how do they know their
recommended daily serving is enough or perhaps too much of their species
(again though, if it is CLOSED cell, it makes not difference whatsoever)
What measures do the growers take to ensure as little environmental
impact as possible?
