around 2,000 families have received compensation payments that have averaged
$850,000 each. There are a further 700 claims that are going through the
pipeline. None of the claims is for autism as medical researchers say they
have failed to find a link between the disease and the MMR vaccine, despite
the initial findings made by Dr Andrew Wakefield. Instead they are for
a wide spectrum of physical and mental conditions that are likely to have
been caused by one of the vaccinations. Around 7,000 parents have filed
a claim of an adverse reaction with America's Vaccine Injury Compensation
Program (VICP). To win an award, the claimant must prove a causal link
to a vaccine. As the medical establishment has refused to recognise any
link to autism, the VICP has so far rejected 300 claims for this outright.

non-physical, is interconnected through an intelligent, energetic source.

The Bowen Technique was developed By Tom Bowen over four decades ago
in Geelong, Australia He studied the intricate circuitry of the nervous
system. It was determined that epicenters existed between the facia, or
connective tissue and the muscles. By performing a series of simple, gentle,
non-invasive moves across this tissue and muscles, the body is stimulated
to redirect its energy and encourage the body to heal. This light pressure

It is becoming desperation time for the American orthodox medical establishment.
Their private little criminal monopoly on American health care is rapidly
collapsing. It is reported [1] that even their vicious and deceptive
assault against alternative medicine by groups like the Quackbusters is
rapidly being exposed as an incredible fraud. This is the story.
Americans are fleeing orthodox medical treatment in droves. Well over
half of the annual 27 billion dollar health care budget is currently
going to the alternative medical community. In November 1998, the Journal
of the American Medical Association, JAMA, reported an increase from 427
million
visits to alternative practitioners in 1990 to 629 million such visits
in 1997. In 1997, JAMA estimated that 21.2 billion health care dollars
poured into the alternative medical coffers. The alternative medical community
was rapidly becoming the treatment of choice for sick Americans.
Possibly this is happening because Americans have discovered the
orthodox medical community to be the third leading cause of death after
heart failure and cancer. Another recent JAMA article reported that
106,000 deaths occur annually in hospitals from drugs that were correctly
prescribed by the doctor according to the instructions on the package.
The U.S Department of Health and Human Services cites a study reported
upon by the National Academy of Science to the effect that up to 98,000
deaths annually are directly caused by medical error. Other sources report
that 125,000 deaths occur annually due to adverse reactions to drugs that
the physician never should have prescribed. In these deaths, the doctor
either did not read or did not understand the instructions on the drug
package.
Many of these deadly drugs are diabetic drugs that act to suppress
our intestinal amylase enzymes, that inhibit the glucagon/glycogen pathway
in the liver or that stimulate the pancreas to over produce insulin. None
of them cure diabetes. All of them promote the rapid decline of the patient
due to the uncontrolled progress of the disease.
These up to 231,000 doctor caused deaths annually are enough
to supply victims for a World Trade Center type disaster every week for
a year and a half. We would have to suffer the loss of two 747 jumbo jets
full of people every day for well over a year in order match the 231,000
victims that the orthodox medical community averages every year. Not reported
on by JAMA, were the outpatient deaths caused by these very same
doctors using these very same drugs outside the immediate supervision of
the hospital.
In 1996 the press was full of stories about the orthodox medical
community. The federal government, Janet Reno, was after them for fraudulent
billing practices. They were padding their bills, arranging good old boy
kickbacks, using improper coding, prescribing unnecessary drugs and surgeries
and just generally defrauding the Medicare and Medicaid programs in every
way imaginable. The take was in the billions of dollars per year. The justice
department had identified this kind of health care fraud in the orthodox
medical community as the single most important reason that health care
costs were exploding so dramatically.
It was panic time for the real quacks in medicine; American patients
were catching on. The alternative medical community was taking all of their
customers. In almost all medical categories except emergency medicine,
surgery and routine bone setting and stitching, alternative technology
was rapidly becoming the preferred technology. Also, the justice department
was after them, like an angry dog after a bone.
This was certainly no time to foolishly allow genuine competition
to gain a foothold in American medicine. Something had to be done; and,
done quickly. This is what they did.
First they dealt with the health care fraud issue made public
by the justice department. You would think that those kindly folks with
the stethoscope draped prominently around their neck would simply clean
up their act and stop lying, stealing, cheating and abusing their patients
now that they had been publicly exposed. But no, that’s not what happened.
They used their expertise at inventing obscure medical language
to completely redefine the attorney generals use of term health care
fraud. They ignored the justice department description of health care fraud
as their own systematic looting of both the public and private sector.
Orthodox medicine decided that the term would be used to describe any practice
of medicine that was not sanctioned by the state medical licensing boards.
This was safe because these boards are mostly dominated the clergy, read
MD’s, of orthodox medicine.
The justice department attempted to gain the support of the state
medical licensing boards
to discipline crooked doctors and clean up the real health care fraud.
The goal was to prevent the bankrupting of Medicare and Medicaid by white
collar medical criminals. However, the state medical licensing boards tacitly
refused to participate in the justice department cleanup. The Federation
of States Medical Boards, FSMB, at their annual meeting in Chicago in 1996
devoted virtually their entire agenda to demonizing the alternative medical
community for health care fraud. Virtually no mention was made of the fact
that the original indictment of health care fraud was against themselves,
not the alternative community. Also conspicuously missing from the agenda
was any evidence to support the health care fraud label that they were
pinning on alternative medicine.
Now that the plan was established at this meeting, the medical
propaganda ministry swung into action. A massive press release barrage
falsely associating the alternative medical community with the justice
department’s term health care fraud appeared. The state licensing authorities
in protecting their crooked doctors, started a massive persecution of anyone
that used alternative therapies rather than synthetic drugs. Quackbusters,
and other websites like them, were set up to offer “authoritative” opinions
and “expert” witnesses for the State courts, the regulatory and insurance
company bureaucrats as well as the lay population.
Throughout the country medical doctors that used alternative therapies
were branded quacks and severely persecuted and prosecuted. Their licenses
were revoked; a fear and terror campaign was launched to keep the majority
of doctors in line. Insurance companies, as a result of the authoritative
opinions they received from the orthodox medical community public service
groups, refused to insure alternative therapies. FDA and FTC employees
were lobbied with these authoritative and expert opinions.
For time this strategy worked, but then the alternative community
organized in earnest to protect itself from this criminal assault. Now
they are beginning to supply their own “expert” witnesses and “authoritative”
opinions to the courts, the regulatory and insurance agencies and the public
at large. The truth is so much more powerful than the lies and distortions
used by orthodox medicine that the tide is turning rapidly.
In the ordinary course of events the next few years will see an
accelerating public exodus from the real quacks of orthodox medicine that
burden the health care community at large. We can all help this desirable
trend. Be skeptical of the anonymous press releases that flood the newspapers
and airways from these authoritative public service groups. Appear at the
trials of the good doctors that you know, and testify in their behalf.
Express your opinions whenever asked by regulatory agencies seeking public
comment. Write and speak out. But most of all, refuse to waste your health
care dollar on the quack remedies of the real quacks of orthodox medicine.
